Dodger’s Kiké Hernández blasts fan’s angry letter by skipping White House, revealing address to fans
Dodgers fan favorite Kiké Hernández has built a reputation around October seasons and being a free-spirited individual.
But after choosing to skip the team’s upcoming White House visit on July 23 celebrating its 2026 World Series title, the veteran utility found himself at the center of a heated political debate.

According to the rules, the 34-year-old missed out on the trip to start the rehabilitation of the injured in the small group due to a difficult condition of the left.

“It will be difficult to be in two cities at the same time,” Hernández admitted recently. Although he quickly added something that should not be taken seriously: “If I was working, I would not have gone.”

That admission didn’t go down well with one disgruntled fan named Larry, who sent a typed letter to the ballpark aimed directly at the Puerto Rican-born star:
“Mr. Hernandez, after hearing about your horrible experience during your last visit to the White House and your excuses for not being there this year, it seems clear that you are just a disrespectful, spoiled, pampered person with little authority. Remember, you work for an organization that promotes a group (The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence) that insults all Catholicism and denies all religion.”

Instead of throwing the hate mail in the trash, Hernández sent a photo of the letter, along with Larry’s unaltered return address, to his 1.5 million social media followers.
“ALWAYS to Larry for a good book!” Hernández wrote this post. “Next time, at least make it handwritten, good sir!”
Hernández isn’t the only Dodger coming off the trip to Washington.
While Hernández attended the team’s visit to the White House in April 2025 following their 2024 tournament, he later expressed regret.

His legendary teammate Mookie Betts is also expected to skip the July 23 event.
Betts previously made headlines when he chose not to go to the White House with the Boston Red Sox in 2019, during Donald Trump’s first term.
Hernández has long spoken out against President Trump’s immigration policy.
