Darline Graham reveals the legal focus on the Senate’s bid to find Lindsey’s estate

Sen. Darline Graham, RS.C., sister of Sen. The late Lindsey Graham revealed his political priorities in an exclusive interview with “Hannity” on Monday as he announced that he will run for a full term in the Senate in November.
“She’s worked hard for a long time. I can’t just let that die. I have to step in and carry her legacy forward,” he said during his first interview since Lindsey’s death.
“I know he cared deeply about the people of South Carolina. He worked hard for them. And I feel like I can do that, too. He taught me well,” he added.

After being appointed by South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster last week to serve out his late brother’s term in the Senate until January 2027, Graham announced Monday that he will run for a full, six-year term.
Graham, South Carolina’s first female senator, told Fox News that she feels “inner peace” following her brother in representing the Palmetto State.
“It’s a lot of pressure,” he said.
“I feel like I can do it. I feel inner peace about it.”
Graham said that unlike Lindsey, who was passionate about ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict, he plans to focus more on domestic issues than foreign policy and put more emphasis on the everyday concerns of South Carolinians.

“I used to see her on talk shows. I’d look at her and be like, ‘Lindsey, are you talking about national security all the time?'” he explained. “And I understand that’s important. Securing our borders, national security, absolutely.”

“I said, ‘But also talk about what’s important to the average person. The price of groceries, the price of gas, health care. Insurance, those kinds of things.’ That’s what I’m worried about.”
Lindsey Graham died suddenly on July 11 at the age of 71. The cause of his death was later identified as aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
“It was hard, very hard,” Darline Graham told host Sean Hannity.

“He was everything, my rock. My brother, mother and father,” he added.
Since 2019, Graham has served as commissioner of the South Carolina Commission for the Blind, which oversees a $90 million budget. This organization helps people who are blind or visually impaired find work.
“It was my love, but I have the heart of a worker,” he said. “You must have a servant’s heart for such a job.”
