The Mets have a designated right-hander Guillo Zuñiga for the assignment, reports Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. That opens up a righty’s roster spot Matt Seelingerwho was acquired in a trade with the Tigers yesterday. It was reported during the trade that Seelinger had an opt-out clause in his contract so he would need a 40-man cap.
