The 2026 Genesis Scottish Open starts this week at the Renaissance Club in Scotland. How to watch the Genesis Scottish Open
This week golf fans will be given something of a preview of next week’s Open Championship. The biggest names from the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and even some from LIV Golf are in action this week. But instead of England’s Royal Birkdale and the Open Championship, they will be fighting for the Scottish Open title against the Renaissance Club of Scotland.
That includes Rory McIlroy, who won the Scottish Open in 2023 and finished T2 last season. McIlroy, the World No. 2, won a major this year (at the Masters). Scottie Scheffler, World No. 1, it didn’t. However, Scheffler will be the defending Open champion next week, and this week he must prepare well before he hunts for his fifth major victory.
As for LIV Golf, the man who won the last two LIV titles of each season is in the field: Jon Rahm. This will be a rare opportunity for Rahm to add a PGA Tour win while still playing for LIV.
CBS and Golf Channel will provide TV coverage of the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open, while PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide broadcast coverage and featured team coverage throughout the week. Important+ will air simulcasts of CBS’s coverage.
