The 4th of July weekend is here, and while it’s a great excuse to stay offline, there are some compelling reasons to consider shopping online. One of the best deals I’ve seen so far is my Hisense Canvas S7 TV for under $1,000, with over 30% off.

I Hisense Canvas TV recommended by ZDNET experts as a direct competitor to the more expensive Samsung Frame TV, a popular choice for those looking for a TV that blends seamlessly into the decor. Hisense recently released its 2026 Canvas models, and the older models are seeing strong sales. The 65-inch model retails for $750 — 32% off the original $1,200 price.
I paid almost the same price for this TV back in Cyber Week 2025, thanks to some promotional deals, so it’s a really good deal to get this price directly.
Editor-in-Chief Kerry Wan reviewed the Canvas TV in its first release, and recommended buying it over its competitor — the Samsung Frame — this past Black Friday. Additionally, students have been interested in this model. The previous Hisense Canvas TV model was our #5 best-selling TV in 2025.

Like Samsung, Hisense’s Canvas TV is a QLED set treated with a matte, anti-reflection layer and wooden borders to look as close as possible to a decorative piece of art.
In his review, Wan noted that art TVs are not suitable for users who want high-end viewing, but rather for those who prioritize beauty and design. I Hisense Canvas it’s not unreasonable, but it’s a great budget option if you want the look of the Samsung Frame without the price tag. And in my research, most customers prefer the Google OS native to the Hisense Canvas over the Samsung system.

I would agree. My new house has a small living room, and I didn’t want the TV to be the focal point. This art TV does just that, making the TV look like a piece of intentional decoration. Plus, the TV comes with built-in artwork that you can shuffle around at no extra cost, and you can, of course, upload your own photos.
This TV has made many guests do double takes, and is receiving endless praise. It’s a worthy purchase if you’re interested in a state-of-the-art TV, and at this price, it’s much cheaper than Samsung’s Frame TV series.
