Team USA’s final game at the 2026 FIFA World Cup may not have had an impact on either team, but patriotism abounded in the home country as Second Lady Usha Vance was among the many in attendance at Los Angeles Stadium on Thursday night.
As the US national anthem rang out across the field, players and fans singing in unison, the FOX Sports broadcast showed Vance in action with a big smile on his face as the “Star-Spangled Banner” ended.
Vance was at the game just two days after FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced that President Donald Trump would present the World Cup trophy to the winning team in the final in New Jersey on July 19.

Vance was just the start of the star-studded scene in Inglewood, as Paris Hilton was seen introducing the ball before it started. Then, the cameras started to take many faces up in the whole crowd.
Among them were Edward Norton and Brad Pitt, a couple most moviegoers know from their classic hit “Fight Club.” Some people who use social media even believe that the conversation they are seeing is about dating.

Also, movie star Ashton Kutcher was seen talking to Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, who knows the confines of SoFi Stadium (so called outside of FIFA play) all too well.
Afterward, Colin Farrell, even though he was born in Ireland, was rocking a Team USA jersey alongside his son in the stands to support the Stars and Stripes. Leonardo DiCaprio, Scottie Pippen and others were seen in the seats.

There was a huge outpouring of support for the USMNT from all over, celebrity or not, at the tournament. Paraguay’s 4-2 victory at the same stadium in Los Angeles caused an uproar in the stands, as America made a statement by opening the tournament at home for the first time since 1999.

Then it was on to Seattle, where a 2-0 win over Australia not only led to a spot in the knockout round, but led to John Denver’s classic song, “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” being played from everyone on the planes. The USMNT thanked their fans after another successful game.
It was a very different look for the USMNT going into Thursday night’s match against Türkiye, with nine changes to the starting XI after the team had already secured their place in the knockout stages. The Americans will face Bosnia and Herzegovina in the round of 32 on July 1.
