The Personal Connection to Cancer

Article content

A global football legend, Howard’s 16 saved Belgium in 2014 most in the history of international football are more than a record. They are the literal expression of One Save Changes Everything the main belief of the campaign: that preparation, presence, and refusal to withdraw, used moment by moment, can change the outcome of the most important events.

Howard’s connection to the campaign runs deeper than the game. When he was 11, his grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. A normal evening followed shared dinners, quiet walks, just being there now you see it as one of these times.

“The most important moments are not always the ones people see. When my grandfather was sick, what stayed with me was our family showing up for him – quietly, consistently, and when it counted. Watching myself taught me that being there, being prepared, and being willing to do something can change everything. Partnering with BeOne feels natural because that’s how they show up to patients, every day, when it counts around the world.”

Additional international goalkeepers will be announced to support the campaign alongside Tim Howard, as well as voices from the cancer community reflecting BeOne’s global legacy.
