ManageEngine is launching a marketplace for partner developers in Southeast Asian markets

JAKARTA – ManageEngine, the business IT management software division of Zoho Corp., has launched a developer ecosystem of partners called ManageEngine Marketplace in Southeast Asian markets to help companies in the region improve their systems by using emerging technologies.
“What we have done is to make our platforms extremely flexible so that you can customize it by changing the products internally or you can write your own software and change or extend the capabilities of the products… Just like how you use applications in the Apple, Android ecosystem, our customers and partners can build applications on top of our platforms, extend the capabilities, change the behavior of our products and publish them,” said Chief Executive Officer Rageshngine in the news market. round table here on monday.
The marketplace is a symbiotic ecosystem that connects partner developers, customers, and ManageEngine platform teams to co-invent and accelerate business IT outcomes.
Since launching last week, the platform has hosted more than 17 partner developer organizations that have built more than 170 turnkey extensions, driving more than 10,000 downloads to date.
The solution quickly deploys ManageEngine’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) agent Zia across company platforms and third-party solutions to scale business workloads.
Mr. Ganesan said their customers and partners can create an AI agent using the Zia Agent studio, where they can type in prompts to manage data.
He added that they are investing heavily in this solution as it will also build the developer ecosystem around ManageEngine.
“How many partners can we have in the Southeast Asia region alone? There are distributors and then there are a few hundred retailers – just 250 in the Southeast Asia region. That’s our ecosystem,” said Mr. Ganesan.
“Now we’re going in, we’re building a developer ecosystem for ManageEngine, where ManageEngine can only be developed by our people. It’s going to be developed by the ecosystem in a very controlled way,” he added.
Across Southeast Asia, ManageEngine has more than 7500 customers, with revenue growing at an average of 25% mainly from its cloud solutions, said ManageEngine Asia-Pacific Vice President Arun Kumar.
“We offer both on-premises and cloud applications for ManageEngine and still in Southeast Asia most of the revenue comes from on-premise, mainly from banks, government, public sector due to strict regulations. But the cloud is growing strongly, our cloud growth is about 35%,”
He said the growth in this region will also be encouraged by existing customers buying other products as well as security solutions.
The company has more than 1,000 customers each in Indonesia and Singapore, another 800 in Malaysia, more than 750 in the Philippines, about 700 from Thailand, and more than 500 in Vietnam.
