The Amazon Prime Day event has come and gone, but the Fourth of July discounts have arrived just in time for back-to-school shopping. We’re tracking the best July 4 deals on MacBooks and Windows PCs from all the major brands: Acer, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, and HP.

The best 4th of July MacBook deals
Apple has recently announced a price increase for all its products, but Amazon has not matched its prices with those of the official Apple store. Many MacBook models, for example, are listed at lower prices than the Apple Store, but are not listed as “for sale.” That said, if you’re looking to grab a new MacBook, you might want to buy now if Amazon is raising its prices as well.
- Apple MacBook Air M5 (13-inch) with 16GB for $1,298: 13-inch with 24GB of integrated memory and 1TB of local storage is also $150 off the regular price of $1,499.
