UA’s Sign Jack Winkler – MLB Trade Rumors

The 27-year-old Winkler played in 14 major league games with the Marlins last year. OA is very familiar with him, having released him from the University of San Francisco in 2021. Winkler peaked at Double-A in his previous position in the organization. He spent the year in Triple-A with the Astros until he was released last week.
Winkler was hitting .184/.260/.306 over 227 plate appearances in the organization owned by Houston. He is a lifetime .228/.311/.342 hitter over six minor league seasons. He won’t provide offensively but can back up anywhere in the infield.
